Why is it necessary for MPs to have firearms ? Unlike in the US there is no statutory right to bear arms! We believe the war has ended and the country is at peace. Or do we still feel that this is a a lawless society without the rule of law ? The President and PM should withdraw ALL weapons issued if they believe in a peaceful society.

Only criminals carry weapons except the servicemen who entitled to carry as of their duty. Here , in the land like no other, law makers carry 9mm and Luger(s). God may bless this nation.

Politicians are always given required security. Them personally having to carry fire-arms is a kind of barometer for the relationship between society and politicians. One who is clean in heart never have to carry any arms.

They should all be dressed like western cowboys and they must be given two guns and a horse. All security should be withdrawn.
