If we don’t cosponsor, they will have their own mechanism to investigate. Such a scenario would be detrimental to the interest to our country.

Hybrid court will be the most partial and illegal of courts, which should not be accepted in SL. US controls the UN and other UN bodies. Therefore, a court created by the UN will be dictated by the US, and therefore, it is partial and illegal.

SL is moving forward in the right direction. Reversing wrongdoings by your administration. Therefore, it is unfortunate that people such as yourselves are holding the country to ransom.

Past HYBRID COURT IN SR LANKA"The Bandaranaike Commission of Inquiry had Justice T.S.Fernando, Judge of the Supreme Court of Ceylon and two "international" Judges, Hon. Adel Younis, a Judge from United Arab Emirates and Hon.G.C.Mills-Odoi, Judge of the Court of Appeal of Ghana. Both judges were invited by the SL government to participate in the "hybrid court.""The second Commission did not have foreign Judges but had a body of International Observers, the International Independent Group of Eminent Persons (IIGEP), headed by Justice S.N. Bhagwati, a former Chief Justice of India and a former head of the UN Human Rights Committee. They were nominated by the then President of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksa. "Sourse: Tamilnet

There is nodoubt that both Sri Lankan government and LTTE commited war crimes. What ever the Tamil people say LTTE were responsible for lot of killings. They killed educated Tamil people. Pirabakaran is a murderer. He used innocent Tamils for his agenda. However, Mahinda and Gotha too were involved in mass murders as well. GLP is too old to understand this. Criminals have to be punished. Security forces are too be pardoned because they only carried out the orders of Gotha.

Around the world, highly educated persons at the level of having a doctorate or professor make sensible, logical and well analyzed statements that are eagerly listened and considered by ordinary public. Sri Lanka is only country where educated level headed fellows such as GL, Tissa Witharana, Dayan who make statements that are worse than what we hear at a three wheeler drivers discussion. This also personifies the standards of our educated.

Professor you have a very short memory. When you read the OHCHR IOSL report and the annex A/HRC/30/CRP2 the High Commissioner on 10 December 2014 requested you to furnish information on the killings and other abuses attributed to the LTTE and you were silent.I am confident all this mess has been created by you and MR together the former Ambassador to Geneva.
