Rajiv must go a step further and say the court that gave the order is ultra vires
garawi Sunday, 19 July 2015 05:56 PM
Rajiv has a personal vendetta against Ranil. If you look at his posting on the web 90% are against Ranil. And most of them are complains he submissively gave in to while he was under MR government. His problem is he thinks he is the best analyst and theoretician in Sri Lanka. He is a stubborn nutty professor!

Rajiva, I do not understand what you are trying to explain. Your speech is gullable to Sri-Lankans but not to the western world.I know your father and mother . They are very decent and respectable fellows. When I was living Sri-Lanka I remember how all the politicians whether left or right used to respect him. Those days your father never sold his soul for cheap gains. But you are completely opposite and I feel You are a disgrace for those wonderful people.

If any wants to make comments on the bond issue please go through at least the draft report. This is in last week Sunday times. There is an opportunity loss 526 million for next 30 years as per the report published.

For many readers of this column, anything done by Ranil is correct and the opposite when it comes to Rajapakse. Some are claiming that an interim report cannot be relied upon and they will come to a final judgement once the final report is out, I bet their stance will not change a bit, whatever the circumstances may be then. They will find an excuse to cling onto their blind loyalty to the UNP and carry on with their mud-slinging at MR, They will not part with their prejudices or fantasies as reality is very unpleasant for them to swallow,

Do not be so stupid not to see this CB Bond fiasco. Its is shameful to ridicule the learned professor, instead counter his argument if you have something to say. Such below the belt attacks are only a reflection of their limitations of reasoning right from wrong; truth from fairy tale stories; honesty vs dishonesty; educated vs morons

So why there is a term called "enjoining order " in the law??????
Roddo Friday, 17 July 2015 07:37 PM
It is not a final document. Adhoc report to suit DEW and the clan
Krisna Friday, 17 July 2015 06:16 PM
UNP and PIN cabinet members are mega robbers not like retail robbers of UPFA which fabricated last six months by the Police Junta of Ranil. So, we need to change this

love it "We believe that it would make people realise that the deputy minister of justice is obstructing the freedom of information. Why is the report being suppressed,"
Lima Friday, 17 July 2015 05:56 PM
THIS SO CALLED ACADEMIC ALSO SUPPORTING THE ROBBER , MURDERER , SO HOW CAN YOU CALL HE IS AN ACADEMIC . WHO EVER WHO SUPPORTS ROBBER, MURDERERS ARE IN THE SAME CATEGORY , EITHER ROBBER OR MURDERER. NOTHING ELSE.WE MEASURE THEM IN THAT MANNER
Citizen Friday, 17 July 2015 05:54 PM
The Prime Minister should be held responsible for this shameful scam.
Perumal Friday, 17 July 2015 05:40 PM
Professor, please do not try to muddle our heads with draft reports; Give the final report. Then we will make a fair opinion.
paul Friday, 17 July 2015 05:38 PM
It is a shame to see so called educated people uttering such foolish statements. The interim draft report submitted by the Sub committee is solely a guide on which the COPE committee needs to carry out investigations. It is similar to someone putting an entry at a police station and then claiming the entry is true without the police carrying out any investigations!
