Any person in Sri Lanka has the right to contest an election. It is upto the people to recall the past and decide if the person is suitable or not. MR helped defeat the LTTE and that credit is with him. However he made a fool of himself internationally and caused a lot of harm to the peace within SL by fanning the racial flames. He is a man who will not change. Even now, his cahoots say that everything will be returned to what was before january 8th. Read into these carefully and defeat the man DECISIVELY for good. It is upto the people. Once that is done, MS will also realize who the SL people are and will tread carefully. However MS is also a dangerous and dishonest man as he has shown. The people who earn for good governance and peace will emerge victorius. Dont just stay at home. Go the the booth on the 17th and cast your vote. Please do not waste it.
