MS won't give nominations to MR- Rajitha

Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne said yesterday that as far as he knew President Maithripala Sirisena had not changed his stance that Mahinda Rajapaksa would not be given nomination.'

Mr. Senaratne said in response to a query, that the president had made it clear that Mr. Rajapaksa would not receive nomination from the Sri Lanka Freedom Party(SLFP)

President Sirisena had firmly expressed his position -- that he would not give nomination to Mr. Rajapaksa. That position had not changed since, he said.

Mr. Senaratne added that the UPFA's anti-Rajapaksa group were considering what action they should take if Mr. Rajapaksa decided to contest the election from the UPFA. (Ranjan Kasturi)

You have no party, how can you afford to talk on behalf of SLFP or UPFA? When you joined forces with UNP ! You are a joke and the current president has no back bone to stick to his word. One day he says one thing and the next day he says another. The biggest mistake i did was by voting for MS. I regret it to date.

All above critisze mr did he not success full ending the war it was not only sf who cries for credit it was the army navy airforce police stf, general public even tv and radio media who was relentlessly followd. Colombi katunayake expressway completed former unp and chandrika never did complete only talk. We have super roads leading to jaffna gall kandy.Cities if colombo kandy galle were clean now.what have u minister done upto now only jump or talk crap as usual.ofcourse mr has to correct himself. But he deserve a chance.

Majority of voters of MR are women and men like women.A survey should be done why. I have realized that women are not having deep knowledge in politics like men.They listen to state medial only specially in rural area.
