People like this empty vessel do not have a mass support within the majority community, most of whom are seen to be moderates. No Tamils would participate in this festival while Tamils in Sri Lanka living in a poor conditions as a result of war against Tamils in different forms. If any Tamils participate in this festival, they would be suspected as if they were bribed.
