A teacher who moulded young educated minds to a career in theater and cinema. Like her husband Lionel, she never went after politicians for personal favors. A character to be emulated. May she attain the supreme bliss of Nirvana,

Sad loss of a friend of more than fifty years. Even after fifty years of association, she was a woman who could extend the same warmth and love and understanding towards a friend, just like in the beginning of the friendship with her ! She was the same Sontha to me as in the days when we were in the campus. May she attain nibbana.
