Eagle eye Sunday, 22 February 2015 06:42 AM

Too late but well done. The authorities should publish telephone or other way of briginging to their attention some of the assests these roughs are owning. Vas has huge mansion down Sady Grove avanue at Boralla land purchased from Minister Navine Dissanayakes brother. This was constructed to start a casino. He owns a nine story building at no.12 Senanayake Mawatha Borella, Colombo 8. Rented to KOICA of Korean Embassy. This address was given to some of the Public Relation companies and appear in the agreements signed with them when Vass was the Monitoring MO of the Ministry of External Affairs. Hope the authorities will persue these too if not brought to their attention already. Simlarly Wickrama finished a mansion in Subuthipura .,Baththaramulla recently These are all ill-gotten money. Public is agitating that these crooks should be dealt with without undue delay. Why cane authorities persue one allegation and find sufficient evidence to arrest them and peruse the other allegations against them. They ar waiting to bring MR after three months and hoping that all these crimes could be wiped under the carpet. It is the responsibility of the new President and the PM to take action to expedite inquiries and at least take the big crooks into custody. You both are failing in this respect. Dealing with crooks was one of the election pledges for which people voted for you Mr. President. Please do not fall into the category of ineffective. Be fair but stern in dealing with these crooks who plundered the nation. We are still awaiting for the much publicized Presidential Commission on the matter.

Why only UPFA? This should be done to all politicians .Red , Blue ,Green or Yellow. This is all bull. All of you people are trying to take the voters for a ride. Do not forget, the French revolution started , because the ruling parties took the simple people as idiots. THE RESULTS WERE NOT VERY SWEET. There are limits to any ones pain, At a certain time every one forgets their pain. That is the danger time.SRI LANKA loves Mr.Rajapaksa. He is a great man ,but some people around him made big mistakes. Punish them. We need Great people such as Great Mahinda and Gota.In the near future people will learn,The mess America has done to the rest of the world and what India will do to Sri Lanka for their excistence. They have already screwed Sri Lanka many times. But with Rajapaksa and Gota it never worked. Why are we going behind India. They are not greater than Srilanka. Go out of these Bollywood cities ,one would see powerty worse than Sri Lanka. I do not understand why our stupid F.M. has to run to India .Dose any one knows these nuke. deals they have signed .The President is a Doctor . But not a nuke: engineer. So how come these deals are signed?

Desmond Jeromme Saturday, 21 February 2015 11:46 AM

Correct, first of all the Team of CID you are going to appoint should be a new team as the old ones are the close colleagues of these three idiots.

    Justice Saturday, 21 February 2015 11:25 AM

Delayed justice is better than no justice. In the previous government they had been zero law and order. At least now things are moving and we should have patience. The government should exposed the culprits to the public and the highest possible punishment should be given to them. If proven their corrupted, then all their assets should be taken to the government.

    s kalpage Saturday, 21 February 2015 10:51 AM
