Bus drivers, three wheelers and most motorcyclists drive like they own the road and behave as though they are the only ones on the road. We need a public transportation policing to fine these rule breakers, especially these bus drivers, driving as if they are in a forumla one track !

According to this 5 people in the three wheeler there should be some law

We appreciate if tough laws can be brought for Three wheel drivers, and private bus drivers. Further more all private bus drivers license must be scrutinized to see third capabilities for driving. Ben

Even though Police has been given new fast motor cycles and what not, the performance we get from them is extremely poor. Many traffic police are lazy and do not maintain road rules in an offensive manner, instead they just wish to pass time and finish their duty. Such accidents are the result of this.

I wish the new government should have included "safe roads" on their 100 days programe. The main culprits in serious accidents are lorry drivers, bus drivers and 3 wheel drivers. Our laws must be made so tough, which should give power to the courts to confiscate the lorries and buses those are (1) Driving on the wrong side (2) Over speeding (3) Reckless driving (4) Going through red (5) Not respecting the pedestrian crossing. The road accidents take many lives, damage a lot of property and create a heavy burden on the society and health systems. ACT FAST as this can be now called as "Road Terrorism". If traffic cops not smart enough, use military.

@BuffaloaCitizen, you are right about the fast Motor Cycles, all they do with it is ride a few kilometers away from the station, park it on the side wear their fancy sunglasses and pose besides the bikes

@ Sabe, I wholeheartedly agree with you,...... whilst driving I have observed that 65-70% of the drivers/riders on our roads show scant regard for the rules and regulations and tend to use the roads as though they are driving in their own backyard, take another 10% who think the road is their personal racetrack/playground, and you have situations like what we are facing now. Like you I firmly believe that the time is not to start enforcing the law to the letter and that should be included in the 100 day program.
