Mr. Arjuna Mahendran has been appointed the Governor of the Central Bank replacing former Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal, Government Information Department said.

    DM should publish the brief background of people appointed to key positions for general public to know the quantification they posses. The new CB governor is an oxford qualified and having 30 years experience in financial sector serving in many countries. Good luck SriLanka CB hope he will remain for at least 5 years.
