Dear Liberal One, IF the government stance is to create a pure and just society yes, you have to follow it or risk arrest and punishment.

This account is not a dummy account. Who is the signatory in the name of Defense Secretary - its non other than Gota. It may be a corporate account, but still its private - not government. This new DS is a puppet........

Speaking up for the truth is attracting intimidation. This is UNP style

Good Action Mr President. Keep It Up
C.K.Lankaputhra Thursday, 22 January 2015 04:41 PM
Very good. This secretary is suspicious and looks not reliable.
CITIZEN Thursday, 22 January 2015 05:29 PM
I think the Secretary was too soon to comment on the B/Account and he did so without going deep into the matter. He may have been misled. But, this conduct cannot be expected from a Senior Administrative Official. On a matter of this nature he should be thorough before making a statement - for or against. Anyway, the tone of the statement itself sounded a little funny!
Aba Jayasekera Thursday, 22 January 2015 05:24 PM
I is unthinkable that the present Defence Secretary does not know that receipts from sales of Govt. property should without exception, be credited to the Consolidated Fund ! Abaj
Balu Mekka Thursday, 22 January 2015 05:22 PM
Yahapalanaya also appears to be changing to Dictatorship. This is Sri Lanka. If oliticians are not cheaters they cannot live in Sri Lanka.
Sam Thursday, 22 January 2015 05:07 PM
The Secretary is either ignorant or he is covering up misdeeds. He must be removed immediately
Mevan Thursday, 22 January 2015 05:07 PM
If his explanation is reasonable it should be accepted. Otherwise replacements can always be found.
Perumal Thursday, 22 January 2015 05:01 PM
Good screening before being appointed would prevent such things
supun Thursday, 22 January 2015 04:59 PM
Isnt this too much? The newly appointed DS has said what he had to say honestly. Second statements cannot be accepted because it could be politically motivated one.
Charlie Thursday, 22 January 2015 04:59 PM
only few days.....Mandale katchal....
chandra Thursday, 22 January 2015 04:57 PM
What defense secretary said is correct. Account was in the name of Defense Secretary not Mr. Rajapaksha.
Mahendra Thursday, 22 January 2015 04:49 PM
Transparency and truth is also a part of yahapalanaya.
Sri Lankan Thursday, 22 January 2015 04:48 PM
People of this country has all the rights to know the truth. So please reveal the truth in proper manner.
Liberal One Thursday, 22 January 2015 04:43 PM
In yahapalanaya you have to maintain the official stance of government or else you risk the possibility of arrest, intimidation and removal. This is sick.
