I wish wisdom will come to the heads of present leaders in dealing with the matters of national security in the country. Once exposed, in the name of exposing corruption, it is very hard to reverse the adverse effects and damages caused. These type of governance or administration, if you call it so, can be done by street vendors (with all due respect to them). No wise political leadership is necessary. India changed its governments few months ago. Did they also spit their national secrets out like us? When do we in Sri Lanka learn these lessons? Pl think of these ideas also. We are not harming A,B or C. We harm our own future and credibility.

having such quantities of weapons poses a risk to national security, these weapons can be used to suppress the civilians by politicians as these weapons cannot be traced since the numbers are large illegal weapons can be hidden among this. These weapons can be used to sponsor terrorism in other countries, and this would tarnish our image.also what is legal frame in defense ministry to give such leverage to private firms and has this firm paid to the government for using naval base or dockyard, if paid is it real, how much commission can be traced to the people who agreed this dealthis is a really dangerous situation as having such amounts of arms with private firms can lead to chaos and police and 3 forces will never be able to control the situation so easily.these firms only care who pay the highest money to sell these arms or services.
