The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) met the Elections Commissioner today and submitted evidence with regard to the use of state sector employees and the abuse of state resources in President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s election campaign.
JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva accused the Government and its candidate President Rajapaksa of attempting to influence the state sector employees.
“This is a grave violation of election laws. Many employees of the RDA, UDA, SLTB and State Banks and the Devi Neguma Department have been forced to engage in the Government campaign,” he said.

Looks like they are wearing RDA vests to me. While they were there, why did they not pick up the trash along the road?
