The Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera today said that all the extremist forces are combined with the common political party and with the support of the common opposition they are disseminating extremist powers around the country.
He said those who are disseminating Christian extremism were recently joined with the common opposition and this is the next conspiracy that would be followed by them.
By using the common opposition, these extremists groups are attempting to convey a new colonisation in the country and they are trying to convert the people by using this current political situation, he said.
The Thera said the Deputy Secretary of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) Nizam Kariyappar had made a false statement to the BBC by saying that the BBS is telling the Muslims, if they give their support to the common candidate Maithripala Sirisena in the Presidential Election, the Muslims will have to face difficulties in the future.
He noted that Nizam Kariyappar’s statement is false and the BBS never made a statement like that.
This is a big conspiracy against the country and people have to understand that situation and give their vote for the country in the forthcoming presidential election, he added. (Yoshitha Perera)
