Elderly woman’s body found in Rajagiriya canal

The body of an 83-year-old woman had been recovered from a canal at Buthgamuwa in Rajagiriya today, the Police said.

They said the victim was a resident of Sahaspura, Borella and the body had been placed at the Borella Police Morgue, following the Magisterial Inquiry.  

The cause for the death is yet to be ascertained.
