very good speech and he understands the route problem. This is a good beginning for unity of the nation. United we stand and divided we fall. We fell 30 years back due to extremism and past mistakes what our leaders did not not correct. We do not give any room to any extremism in our mother land. We should march forward for united and develop sri lanka. Never look back.

President deliberately has dropped the words "UNITARY STATE" from his speech. It is a political speech focused on winning elections.

In other words, he is saying that he will safeguard the supremacy of the Sinhala people!! There is no difference between MR, MS, JR, RW etc. all are carbon copies!
