Nisal Gamage playing an entertaining innings scoring a century including nine fours and three sixes in 105 balls and Chamith Aravinda also playing a star studded knock scoring a half century including six fours in 55 balls and bagging three wickets, steered Thurstan Millennium Legends to beat Isipathana Millennium Legends by seven wickets, in their second Millennium Legends encounter at the Thurstan College ground last Saturday. 

Isipathana Legends were unable to defend their score of 211 for 9 that Thurstan Legends reached for the loss of three wickets

The invitees as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour for the encounter were Hemal Botheju and Kamal Mahendra, both outstanding cricketers of Thurstan College. Actor Mahendra Perera also an Old Thurstanite was invited as a Special Guest.
