Sri Lankan golfer Haroon Aslam wins in the USA

Haroon Aslam, representing Texas Wesleyan University, secured his first inter-collegiate victory at the Roadrunner Golf Classic held recently in Georgia in the USA.
The 54-hole tournament featured a competitive field of 63 golfers and Texas Wesleyan University produced a strong team performance, finishing in third place overall. 
Haroon displayed exceptional composure under pressure, birdieing the final hole to force a playoff. 
He then went on to clinch the title on the very first play-off hole marking a milestone in his collegiate career.
The Farm is widely regarded as one of the most challenging golf courses in Georgia and has previously hosted prestigious events such as the Georgia State Amateur Championship, Southern Amateur Championship and the Georgia Women’s State Amateur.
