Sri Lanka off to Dhaka for Asian Beach VB

 The Sri Lanka Team will leave for Bangladesh tomorrow (25) to participate in the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Beach Volleyball Championships, which will be held from December 26 to 31 at the Cox’s Bazar in Dhaka.

 The Sri Lanka Volleyball Association (SLVB) named Chathurika Madushani of Army SC as the Captain of the Sri Lanka Women’s Beach Volleyball Team for this tournament, which will feature six Central Asian countries.
 Her partner at this meet will be another reputed player Dipika Bandara of Navy SC with both having represented the country at several international tournaments.  

 Meanwhile, Thakshila Gunasinghe will accompany the team as Coach while Sagari Gunasinghe will be Sri Lanka’s official referee for this meet and Major J. M. W. Bandara will be the Team Manager.
