Persistent rain led to the abandonment of the second T20I between Pakistan and Sri Lanka yesterday at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium.

Unfavourable weather conditions caused multiple delays throughout the day, with no window available for the toss, ultimately ruling out any chance of play. As a result, both sides will now shift their attention to the series decider.

Pakistan hold a 1-0 lead in the three-match series after their six-wicket victory in the opening game at the same venue on Wednesday, where they comfortably chased down a target of 129 with 20 balls remaining.

The third and final T20I is scheduled to be played at the same venue tomorrow.
