Over 100 ex-players to contest double wicket cricket

The third Lanka Heritage CC double wicket cricket tournament is scheduled to be played on May 16 and 17 at the Moors SC ground at Braybrooke Place with the participation of 24 teams and over 100 past cricketers in action.
Dushan Soza, president of Lanka Heritage CC said that the tournament has become a popular one among the past cricketers and they look forward to making it an international-flavoured tournament.
The tournament organisers have succeeded in raking in sponsors with A&E coming forward as the principal sponsor supported by Chance Sports, Future Life Holdings, LOLC Finance, Phoenix, Nithyakalyani Jewellers, Nawaloka and Janashakthi Group as co-sponsors.
Former Sri Lanka players Roy Dias and Anura Tennekoon will grace the occasion as chief guests at the opening and closing ceremonies. -MSA.
