Navy SC (30) shock Police SC (29)

Navy Sports Club pulled off a superb win over Police Sports Club by 30 points (2 tries, 2 conversions, 1 penalty try, 3 penalties) to 29 (5 tries, 2 conversions) in their Inter Club Rugby League Plate Segment encounter at Welisara last evening.

Navy’s tries were scored by Amith Madushanka and Kaveesha Wijeratne with Isuru Congahawatte converting both while putting over three penalties. 

Further Navy SC were awarded with a penalty-try as well. For Police SC their tries were scored by Sujan Kodithuwakku, Prince Chamara, Vihanga Shaveen, Pradeep Kumara and Ramitha Himasha. 

Koliva Mocetadra converted two of them Police occupy the second position in the Plate segment with 25 points while Navy climb up to third position with this win with 17 points securing their second win this season.
