Matale Hockey Club clinch Camillus Cup

Matale Hockey Club won the Camillus Cup All Island Inter-Club Hockey tournament.

They beat CH&FC 2-0 in the final at the Astro Turf in Colombo.

Matale HC beat Badulla Old Duthians HC 2-1 while CH&FC defeated Navy SC 2-0 in the semi-finals of the tournament which saw 14 teams participating.

Dhananjaya Bandara scored the first goal for Matale HC to give them a 1-0 lead at half time which was doubled by Dhananjaya Rathnayaka.
