Maris Stella, Rathnayaka CC win U-16 relay titles

Maris Stella College, Negombo and A. Rathnayaka Central College, Walala won the Under-16 Boys’ and Girls’ titles respectively at the third Ritzbury Inter-Schools Sir John Tarbat Relay Championship 2025 held at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Sports Complex in Diyagama.

The meet was conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Athletics Association under five age group categories and was sponsored by CBL Foods International (Pvt) Limited.

Results

Under-16 Boys: Champions: Maris Stella College, Negombo (35 points), Runners-up: St. Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa (25), Third place: St. Benedict’s College (18).

Under-16 Girls: Champions: A. Rathnayaka CC, Walala (42 points), Runners-up: Lyceum, Wattala (25), Third place: Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Pannipitiya (22)
