Major Club Limited Over Police SC, CCC notch second successive win

Police SC and CCC recorded their second successive win of the Major Club limited over tournament when they coasted to victories over Panadura SC and BRC in the  matches played at Police Park and BRC ground.

An unbeaten knock of 107 in 98 balls inclusive of 11 fours and a six by Ashen Bandara and a half ton by Nadeera Balasooriya helped Police SC taking first lease of the wicket make a formidable 309 for 7.

Panadura SC in their run chase was able to muster only 169 which gave Police SC an easy win by 140 runs.

CCC on the other hand in a low scoring game overcame BRC by two wickets with the latter making 133 runs and CCC reaching the target in the 34th over.
