A knock of 73 by Ludeesha Matarage helped S. Thomas’ College, taking first lease of the wicket, to make a score of 262/9 against Wesley College who ended day one on 29/1 in their Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Mount Lavinia.

In another match Prince of Wales dominated proceedings against Mahinda College at the end of the first day’s play in the match played at Moratuwa.
