KDCA conducted Division 3 to start on August 23

The Kandy District Division 3 cricket tournament, conducted by the Kandy District Cricket Association (KDCA), will commence on August 23. 
The tournament will consist of a total of 30 teams. 

A majority of the games will be played at the Prison Ground in Pallekelle and the Asgiriya International Stadium, which is in great shape with no sports being conducted at the venue for the last 5 months. 

This was disclosed at a press briefing conducted by KDCA, represented by President, Roland Perera, Secretary Janaka Pathirana and Treasurer Chandra Mahawatte yesterday.  
In case of continued rain in the Hills this event could be postponed by one week from the original scheduled date of August 23. A meeting for all 30 participating team captains and umpires will take place at KDCA office on August 17 at 4:00 p.m.
