Gampaha District clinch beach volleyball title

Gampaha District won the men’s title at the 32nd National Youth Sports Festival beach volleyball event.   
They beat Hambantota District 2-0 in the final played at NYSC Heiyanthuduwa to clinch the title. The duo who represented the champion team were S.I. Madushan and Sandun Madushika.   

Hambantota were represented by W.S. Wijedasa and K.K.G.S. Bandara.   

The women’s final was scheduled to be held last weekend but postponed indefinitely because of the spike in coronavirus cases.
