Colombo hockey crown goes to BRC

Burgher Recreation Club (BRC) beat Old Nalandian Hockey Club 2-0 to secure the A division title at the Colombo Hockey Association (CHA) tournament which concluded at the Colombo International Hockey Complex.

In the B division final Old Joes Sports Club ended victorious in a nail-biting clash against Gymkhana. The match ended 4-3 with Old Joes proving their attacking flair and resilience under pressure to seal the championship.

In the C division final Old Isipathana Hockey Club stood out as they beat BRC. Their energetic style and clinical execution were the key factors behind their well-earned triumph.

In the women’s final CR and FC edged out Nomads by a close 1-0 scoreline in a tightly contested encounter where the Red Shirts held their nerves to secure the championship.
