Clean sweep for RCGC

Burdett Trophy all winners RCGC

Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) beat Nuwara Eliya Golf Club (NEGC) in all three segments, Burdett Trophy, Puffin and Masters at the annual golf tournament which took place at the RCGC course in Borella recently. Burdett was the second oldest trophy around the globe happening for the 120th year.  Burdett was a close battle the Colombo outfit winning 7/5 while the Ladies event played for Puffin which was won by the Colombo Ladies 6.5 to 1.5 points. Meanwhile the Masters event which took place concurrently was once again won by RCGC 2.5 to 1.5 points.
