Bangladesh beat SL in second Youth ODI

Bangladesh Under-19 defeated Sri Lanka Under-19 by nine wickets in the second Youth ODI played at the CCC Grounds in Maitland Crescent yesterday.

Opener Zawad Abrar hit an unbeaten 130 from 106 balls inclusive of six sixes and 14 boundaries as the visitors chased down their target of 211 runs with more than 15 overs to spare.

Earlier, Sri Lanka Under-19 electing to bat first made 211 in 48.5 overs with middle order batsman Chamika Heenatigala stroking a fighting half century with the help of two boundaries.
