BASA conducts successful training programme

The Billiards and Snooker Association of Sri Lanka (BASA) spearheaded by President Noor Zulsky Passela along with the officials successfully conducted a training programme for referees which was held at the Automobile Association Club in Colombo recently.


Fourteen referees namely M.K.G.N. Nandasiri, E.N.T. de Soysa, W.M.J.A. Wickramasinghe, W.D. Madusanka, P.G. Dulanjana, R.M.P. Ratnayake, K.A.C. Madushan, K.G.M. Nishantha, E.A.A.C. Edirisinghe, M.P.K. de Costa, D.G.C.S. Dharmadasa, H.K.T. Sampath, A.M.S. Saman Kumara and N.M.S.S. Bandara underwent the training which was conducted by chief referee S.M. Ibrahim.


The successful referees were awarded with certificates after the completion of the training programme and they will qualify to officiate in cue sports tournament at local and international tournaments. -MSA
