We issue this statement in view of the fact that there is considerable confusion with respect to the upcoming bicycle ride scheduled on 4-6 July 2025.

We wish to clarify that this ride is not in any way related to or affiliated with the bicycle ride under the name ‘Trek for Ceylon’, which was successfully launched earlier this year.

We also wish to clarify that the ride scheduled on 4-6 July 2025 is not in any way related to or affiliated with Ride for Ceylon (Guarantee) Limited, a company duly incorporated in Sri Lanka. All directors of the company have confirmed in writing that the company has no involvement in organising the said ride.

We wish the riders participating in the ride scheduled on 4-6 July 2025 all the very best!
