Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), the leading ICT and digital solutions provider to the nation was recognized once again at the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Best Presented Annual Report Awards and SAARC Anniversary Awards for Corporate Governance Disclosures 2018, for the company’s Annual Report 2018. The award ceremony was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh recently. Mr. U. H. Rodrigo (Deputy General Manager) and Mr. Thushara Amaranath (Manager) were presented at the awards ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of the company. 

The SAFA Best Presented Annual Report Awards is the most prestigious accolade for financial reporting in the South Asian region. It recognizes and rewards organizations in the region that have achieved excellence in the presentation and disclosure of high quality, relevant, reliable and objective financial statements in accordance with the framework stipulated by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). SLT has been continuously recognized and rewarded by SAFA for high standards maintained in the company’s annual reports for many years.
