Political connection gives him immunity!

This two-star uniformed one, married to the daughter of a lady close to a former political bigwig, is facing serious charges, but an inquiry which was to be held against him had been stifled due to political intervention, they say.

The uniformed high-up in charge of the division had planned to hold a disciplinary inquiry after transferring the errant one to a station located beyond the 18-elbow road-bends, but the former political bigwig had brought pressure on him to drop the inquiry. 

How the two-star high-up had escaped departmental action against him has become the main subject for hush-hush among the lesser mortals in the service these days, they say.
