A prominent politico, who was recently appointed to a very high post at the provincial level, had invited a regiment to the event of his assuming duties in the new high office.

This politico, who has now been appointed to oversee a province, which is already represented by a leading politico and secretaries of two main political parties at a different level, had personally deployed a fleet of vehicles for the crowds to attend the event.

The politico’s henchmen and former contractor-buddies too had played an active role in organizing transport for invitees and turning the event into a major celebration, they say.
