An unholy tie-up!

The CID recently arrested an underworld figure of Dematagoda  who had reportedly earned billions-worth of assets through illegal means.  

This person reportedly having close ties to some influential public figures happens to be a brother of a certain criminal who is now in the death row in connection with the murder of a politico. 

Investigations carried out following the arrest of the underworld character have revealed that he had been very close to a certain khaki high-up. 

It had transpired during the investigations that this khaki high-up known to be having an insatiable palate for a certain kind of meat had been leading a fast life partying and merry-making and video clips showing him having fun in night clubs in the company of the underworld figure too have been recovered, they say. 

Very high authorities have now called for a report in detail about the conduct of this khaki high-up, informed sources say.
