The Healsio Water Oven, which roasts food by spraying superheated steam at 300 degree Celsius, can squeeze out excess fat and salt in meat and fried foods while preserving vitamin C in steamed vegetables. The Healsio is the first oven in the world to employ this mechanism.

The release of the new in the original basis, through the steam discharge port built into the microwave oven interior, and a new compact design, is the perfect solution for healthy cooking. It lets you steam, grill, roast, bake, oven, proof, defrost and reheat.

The oven has a high heat transfer capability, produces condensation heat on coming into contact with the food and provides a low oxygen environment.

Superheated Steam is a clear, colorless gas obtained by heating ordinary steam at 100°C to a higher temperature under normal pressure. With its high heat transfer capabilities, it is applied to a wide range of fields including food preparation methods such as roasting. Sharp applied this technology to this remarkable home-use cooking appliance.

Using this cooking method, fat and salt contained within the food is drawn to the outside and drops off. For example, when cooking a steak, the Healsio removes eight times as much fat as cooking in a frying pan does.

This has made the Healsio a particular favorite among middle-aged and older consumers, who are keen to avoid food that is high in fat and salt. The oven is also said to help conserve Vitamin C by reducing oxidation.
