Harsha Cabral appointed Tokyo Cement Chairman

Dr. Harsha Cabral has been appointed the new Chairman of Tokyo Cement Company ( Lanka) PLC, becoming the successor of veteran businessman Edgar Gunatunge, who passed away last month.He was a Non-Executive Independent Director of the company prior to the announcement yesterday.Dr. Cabral holds a PhD in Corporate Law from the University of Canberra and sits as a Director in 15 companies An author and a President’s Counsel for eight years, he holds a number of positions in both public and private institutions of law and education.
