The 13th Asian Endometriosis Congress held in Colombo

The Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Association of Sri Lanka  organised the 13th Asian Endometriosis Congress 2025 which was held in Colombo during four days starting from October 31

Initiating the 13th Asian Endometriosis Congress here in Colombo, the Pre-Congress Pelvic Ultrasound workshop was held recently at the lecture hall of the Ninewells Hospital, Colombo. The Pre-Congress Workshop was one of the two workshops being scheduled to conduct before the 13th Asian Endometriosis Congress. 
The event was based on the topic of Ultrasound in Endometriosis,  and three  visiting Professors -- Prof. Alin Constantin (Germany), Prof. Yulia Sopova (Russia) and Prof. Saeed Alborzi (Iran) shared their knowledge on the topic on the opening day of the event.  
Among the subjects they spoke of included Diagnosis Endometriosis in Asia Pacific, Knobology for Gynaecological Ultrasound (Machine Settings, Optimisation and Practical Tips) ,Basics of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis diagnosis (History, Clinical Exam, Laparoscopy & Role of Imaging) ,How to perform TVS according to the IDEA Consensus (Orientation, Landmarks, Pitfalls), Ultrasound diagnosis of Ovarian Endometriosis & Soft Markers, Anterior Compartment Endometriosis (Bladder,Uterus, Kidneys), Posterior Compartment Endometriosis ,Lateral Compartment & Extraperitoneal Sites, Role of Ultrasound in Surgical Planning & Classification, followed by  a live scanning session. 
The Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Association of Sri Lanka organised the 13th Asian Endometriosis Congress 2025 which was held in Colombo during four days starting from October 31. This year,  this important international event was accompanied by  world–renowned experts, researchers and clinicians in the field of Endometriosis from 18 countries,  representing the USA, Europe, Russia, China and the Asia–Pacific region.
