The Urban Development Authority holds the largest land bank in Sri Lanka and is currently initiating investment promotion for its land portfolio to both local and foreign investments to make Sri Lanka an attractive destination for investments in the region.
The Urban Development Authority identified lands in extent of 620Ha (approximately) for more than 100 Development Projects in the upcoming years island-wide under the categories of, Mixed Development, Residential Tower Development, Hospitality and
Leisure Development, Logistic Hub Development, and Multi-storied Car Park Development, all of which will have a significant impact on Sri Lanka’s real estate sector.
Urban Development Authority presents following 4 projects are readily available for the investment and the UDA is issuing Requests for Proposals (RFP) for the same, Mixed Development Project at Balangoda


Balangoda is the semi administrative town, located 50 km from Ratnapura, the capital city of Sabaragamuwa province bounded by bordered Central and Southern province of Sri Lanka. Balangoda urban area is established to satisfy the requirements of the Pradeshiya Sabas such as Imbulpe, Balangoda and Weligepola.
A plot of land located in Balangoda town center has been identified by the UDA for the Mixed Development under the Balangoda Development Plan.
The said land is situated at the center of Balangoda town and has great potential for the mixed development.
The Mixed Development Project in Balangoda town centre is a major undertaking that is transforming the town into a vibrant and modern hub. This ambitious venture is set to bring together residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, creating a vibrant and sustainable urban environment for

Mixed Development Project at Madola Avissalwella


The parcel of land located in Madola village within the Pradeshiya Sabha limits of Dehiowita in district of Kegalle, has been designated for the Mixed Development project, encompassing residential areas, hotels, private hospitals, and other amenities, in accordance with the 
UDA zoning plan.
Avissawella is a rapidly growing city in Sri Lanka. It is located about 30 kilometers from Colombo, the capital city. Avissawella is a major commercial and industrial center for the surrounding region. It is also close to a number of educational institutions and government offices.
The said land is located in a prime location in Avissawella, with easy access to transportation, schools, and other amenities. It will be developed in a sustainable manner to vibrant the Avissawella area.
