People’s Bank denies social media claims on loan write-offs

People’s Bank has denied views expressed on the Bank’s non-performing loan write-offs as shared in certain social media groups.

The Bank’s management said such statements were completely untrue.

“To save any future doubt, none of the loan so discussed in the said forums have been written off,” People’s Bank said in a brief media statement.
