Flag Faux Pas

Miley Cyrus got a little too cheeky for Mexican authorities September 16. During her sold-out concert in the city of Monterrey, the twerking singer, 21, wore oversize costume buttocks and enlisted a backup dancer to spank her with a Mexican flag. But the not-so- patriotic act didn't fly. According to state representative Francisco Treviño, the stunt is under investigation for violating the country's law regarding national symbols. "They are hitting her with the flag, or cleaning her backside," Treviño says of Cyrus, who could land a $1,270 fine or upto 36 hours
in jail.
