The Ballet Mount Love ena Story

The Nilan Maligaspe Creative Dance and Drama Academy (NCDDA), headed by choreographer Nilan Maligaspe, recently presented ‘Mount Loveena Love Story’ as a ballet for the first time in Sri Lanka at the Lionel Wendt Theatre. The performance depicted the love story of Lovina and Sir Thomas Maitland, a British governor, and marked the 31st anniversary of NCDDA as well as the 41st year of the artistic journey of Nilan Maligaspe.
