Met. Dept. forecasts rainy weather

Rainy weather is expected to be experienced in Sri Lanka due to the development of a depression in the sea southeast of the Bay of Bengal.
 The Department of Meteorology said heavy showers of 100 -150  mm could be expected on January 31 and February 1.

 Also, the Department says thundershowers could be expected on January 30.

 People are advised to refrain from naval activities in the depression-affected area.
