Boris Johnson pledges support for SRI LANKA

• Pledged support in the fields of tackling climate change and assisting SL in becoming an export oriented open economy

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson who had spoken to Premier Ranil Wickremesinghe over the phone had pledged British support for Sri Lanka. 

The PM in his twitter message said his British counterpart had pledged UK support for Sri Lanka particularly in the field of tackling climate change.   

“During a discussion with Boris Johnson today, I briefed him on the situation in Sri Lanka. He pledged to support us especially in the fields of tackling climate change and assisting Sri Lanka in becoming an export oriented open economy,” he said in his twitter.
