WNL Sponsors illumination of Thanthirimale Temple

Wijeya Newspapers Ltd will sponsor the illumination of the Thanthirimale Temple and the Chaithiya to mark the Poson festival this year.   

Religious observances will be held from June 09th  to the  15th  for which the temple will be illuminated.   The Poson festival committee which met under the co-chairmanship of Anuradhapura District Secreatary Ranjith Wimalasuriya and Chief Incumbent of Thanthirimale Rajamaha Vihara Ven. Thanthirimale Chandrarathana Thera decided on the dates of celebrations. Additional District Secretary Sandya Abeysekara, and Divisional Secretary M.C.Chandradasa were present at the occasion.
