Two wild elephants run over at Mankulam

Another two wild elephants have been run over by the train at Panikkankulam in Mankulam by the Colombo bound night mail from Jaffna on Saturday (15).   
Mullagathivu Wildlife Range Wildlife Conservator said the two jumbos crossing the railway line near the 301km post in Panikkankulam had been run over.  

He said several wild elephants and cattle had been run over earlier between Omanthai and Kilinochchi.
