Forthcoming domestic debt optimization CB Governor says no adverse effect on banking sector

The Central Bank Governor Dr.Nandalal Weerasinghe strongly affirmed yesterday that the forthcoming domestic debt optimization (DDO), set to be announced this week, will have absolutely no adverse effect on the stability of the country’s banking sector or on the deposits held by individuals with banks.
