Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella responded to allegations of substandard drug imports causing patient deaths, during a special media briefing.

“I will accept the fault, if the death certificate confirms the cause of death to be the result of substandard drugs,” he said, adding that the question was posed by journalists with malicious intent.
